With the introduction of Sports 80, each athlete will have their own unique registration number which will stay with them throughout their Little Athletics journey. These bibs will be sent to your nominated address individually. The bib must be attached to the front of the Centre shirt.
Athletes may wear shorts, skirts, bike pants, racing briefs or compression garments as approved by LAQ. For Ipswich these are to be Black in colour.
• Athlete bottoms shall comply with the approved centre uniform colour. For Ipswich these are to be Black in colour.
• Bike pants, compression garments and shorts shall be above knee length for walks events. Athletes not in walks events may wear full length compression garments or tights on their legs.
• One (1) manufacturer’s logo is permitted provided it is no larger than 5cm x 5cm.
For the avoidance of doubt, bottoms with large, branded waistbands (e.g. NikePro, IMPI) are not permitted.

**Important**
From Competition Night #4 (02 October 2026), if an athlete is not competing in the correct uniform, their results will not be recorded for the evening. For clarity, the athlete will be allowed to compete, but their results will not be recorded.
LAQ Policy states that athletes wouldn’t be allowed to enter the competition area at all if there was a failure to comply, however we do not believe that should apply here at Ipswich, at the centre level.
It is vital that as a Centre, we uphold the LAQ Uniform Policy. Ipswich Little Athletics want to ensure that we have the highest standards.
The committee will be enforcing this policy and if there are any questions at all please seek out a committee member for guidance.
